As we prepare to reopen the historic Shepherd YMCA Firehouse in La Jolla, we’re not just opening doors — we’re expanding access to programs and services that promote well-being, foster belonging and strengthen the community.
EGYM AT THE Y
GROUP FITNESS
Members have access to unlimited free group fitness classes, including yoga, walking meditation, Zumba, HIIT and Strength.
CHILD WATCH
Parents love our Child Watch service! Your kids can play and make friends while you enjoy a class or relax at the Y!

Space Reservations
Interested in hosting your next event with the Y? Shepherd YMCA Firehouse’s Engine Room offers a large space that can accomodate your needs. This room can be used for following:
