The John A. Davis Family YMCA proudly serves communities in La Mesa and San Carlos, as well as other surrounding East County communities. Davis Family YMCA offers a state-of-the-art wellness center complete with cardio equipment, circuit training, free weights and group exercise studios.

Swim at the Y: Learn Together, Play Together
We offer an outdoor pool for swim lessons for all ages, family swim, water aerobics, and many kinds of adaptive swim programs for kids with special needs, so we can all safely enjoy the pleasures of an aquatic environment.
Camp with the Y: Our Doors Are Open
The YMCA of San Diego County is proud to offer several amazing camps where every child can build confidence and make new friends in a safe and nurturing environment. From horseback riding in Julian to surfing in Imperial Beach, each of our camps have something special to offer the young adventurer in your life.
Socialize at the Y: Strengthening Our Community
Being healthy means more than simply being physically active. It’s about maintaining a balanced spirit, mind and body. The Y is a place where you can work toward that balance by challenging yourself to learn a new skill or hobby, fostering connections with friends through our lifelong learning programs, or bringing your loved ones closer together through our many family-centered activities.
