SPRING DAY CAMP
YMCA day camps are fun-filled, spirited experiences where kids build skills, make friends and create lasting memories. Each week features engaging themes and activities that foster a sense of community and adventure. Whether your child loves sports, STEM, or just exploring new interests, there’s a camp for them! SPORTS & STEM
Ages 5-13 | SEARCH CODE: CPSNS44 FIND SESSSIONS
Sports & STEM camp combines physical activity with educational exploration. Campers engage in sports like basketball and soccer, while also diving into STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) activities. This camp is designed to develop both athletic and cognitive skills, providing a balanced experience where kids can enjoy the fun of sports while also nurturing their curiosity and problem-solving abilities through hands-on STEM projects.
SPORTS Tech Explorers
Ages 7-14 | SEARCH CODE: CPSTE44 FIND SESSIONS
Why pick one sport when you can play them all? Each day will focus on a different sport such as soccer, basketball, football, dodgeball and more. STEM and Sports camp is designed to teach campers recreational sports and the value of exercise. Focus will be placed on team play and skill development. Along with fun sports we can't forget STEM! Smash! Explosion! Reactions! This camp also takes science to the extreme. Campers will have a memorable experience as they interact with experiments that pop, fizz, and crackle! Campers will learn about why reactions occur and then create the reactions first-hand. Your camper will participate in team building games, arts & crafts, science experiments, and more!

DATES: AVAILABLE ALL CAMP SESSIONS (JUNE 2-JULY 18)
Dive into a world of creativity and discovery with our STEM and Swim camp! This unique camp combines the excitement of swimming with the fascinating world of science, technology, engineering, and math. Campers will engage in hands-on STEM activities, conducting fun science experiments, all while learning how these concepts apply to the world around them. After exploring the wonders of STEM, campers will cool off in the pool with swimming and water games. This camp is a perfect mix of learning and fun, helping campers develop problem-solving skills, teamwork, and a love for science, all while staying active in the water!

About Our Staff
Border View Family YMCA takes pride in hiring the best people to fill our camp staff. Each camp leader was hand-selected through an extensive hiring process to ensure the safest environment for everyone. Staff training includes CPR and First Aid certification, transportation safety, behavior management and bully prevention, child protection and abuse prevention, field trip and off-site safety procedures, risk management/prevention and more.
PAYING FOR CAMP
- Pay in full (includes a $60 non-refundable deposit).
- Place a $60 non-refundable deposit at the time of registration. Deposit discounts may apply based on membership type.
- Note: any day camps less than three days will have no deposit and will require to be paid in full at time of registration.
- For Summer sessions, balances will be due three weeks prior to the first day of camp.
- For school break camps, balance dues will be one week before the camp date.
- An active membership is required at the time of the program start date to receive the member pricing discount.
- Financial assistance is available through the Y’s ACCESS scholarship program or through third party payment support.
Deposits are non-refundable but can be immediately applied as a deposit for another camp if space is available or applied to an already existing camp balance within the same season. See our Refund/Voucher/Transfer Policies for more information.

Financial assistance is available to families who qualify. Applications are available at the service desk and online. Assistance is based on verified income and completed applications.
ADAPTIVE CAMP
PLEASE NOTE: Contact the Camp Director and/or Coordinator to initiate an enrollment request and help us prepare a great experience for your camper. We begin accepting enrollment requests on March 4, 2024 and strive to provide at least one week of camp to all interested families.
