The Joe and Mary Mottino Family YMCA, often called the Mottino Family YMCA, proudly serves families in beautiful Oceanside. Dedicated to empowering people to be healthier in spirit, mind and body, the Y believes a strong community can only be achieved when we invest in our kids, our health and our neighbors. As a leading nonprofit organization, the Y offers programs that foster youth development, promote healthy living and advance social responsibility.

Membership at the YMCA includes plenty of opportunities to learn, play and get healthy. That’s because when you join one Y, you join them all! The Wellness Center

Joe & Mary Mottino YMCA offers a state-of-the-art wellness center complete with cardio equipment, circuit training, free weights and group exercise studios.

Swim at the Y: Learn Together, Play Together

Child Care at the Y: Call on Us

The YMCA is the nation’s leading provider of child care. Playful, engaging options are plentiful for young children at the Y.

  • Child Watch: Parents can pursue fitness goals or enjoy various programs at the Y while their kids, ages 6 weeks – 9 years, are supervised by Y staff.  Learn more.
  • Preschool: Mottino Family YMCA offers a preschool that is licensed by the State of California. Preschool programs nurture children’s growth, instilling core values with licensed, safety-focused initiatives and trained staff. Learn more.
  • Before/After School: Y Before and After School Programs support children in reaching their full potential by providing academic support and hands-on enrichment experiences in a safe and structured environment for children grades Kindergarten through Middle School. Learn more.

Camp with the Y: Our Doors Are Open

The YMCA of San Diego County is proud to offer several amazing camps where every child can build confidence and make new friends in a safe and nurturing environment. Members get up to 25% off camp registration and we offer scholarships to families who qualify. Learn more about day camp.

Socialize at the Y: Strengthening Our Community

Being healthy means more than simply being physically active. It’s about maintaining a balanced spirit, mind and body. The Y is a place where you can work toward that balance by challenging yourself to learn a new skill or hobby, fostering connections with friends through our lifelong learning programs, or bringing your loved ones closer together through our many family-centered activities.
