At the Y, it’s all here, and it keeps getting better! Around the county you’ll see fresh spaces, new equipment, more classes, expanded hours and more. At Border View Family YMCA, we’re excited to share:
- We’re adding new lobby hours, 12 – 3:30pm, Monday and Wednesday. Staff can help you register, take a tour and answer any questions about programming and services.
- Try out new fitness classes, including Chair Yoga at 9am Fridays, and popup aqua classes in January. Check the Y app for popup details.
- Look for fun social activities this month.
- Thinking about hiring a personal trainer? First-time clients can get four sessions for $220!
- Day camp sign-ups start in February. Members register first & save!
Border View Family YMCA, situated just north of San Ysidro, has been proudly serving the community since 1984. This facility has transformed into an innovative and sustainable YMCA-based center that provides accessible services, resources and support to meet community needs. We offer a safe, nurturing and supportive environment for people from all backgrounds and walks of life to come together and bring about meaningful change, not just within themselves, but in their community, too.

Border View Family YMCA offers a state-of-the-art wellness center complete with cardio equipment, circuit training, free weights and group exercise studios.

Membership and Program Assistance
The YMCA offers financial scholarships to reduce membership and program fees to those that qualify, helping ensure that everyone has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.
Our scholarship program is based on a sliding fee scale that is designed to fit each family’s financial situation, and is available thanks to our generous Annual Campaign donors.
Apply online for a scholarship here and find out if you are qualified for a membership and/or program assistance through express or traditional verification methods.
