TODDLER CARE AT THE RYAN FAMILY YMCA PRESCHOOL
Give your little one a head start in a nurturing, play-based environment! The Ryan Family YMCA Preschool now offers care for ages 18 months to 5 years, focusing on early learning, social development and lots of fun.
Tuition prices include six months of weekly swim enrichment (April-September) & six months of weekly sports enrichment (October-March).
Adaptive Parent & Child Swim Lessons
We’re excited to introduce Adaptive Parent & Child Swim Lessons at the Ryan Family YMCA — a new program designed for children ages 1.5–6 with diverse abilities and adaptive needs.
Swim lessons will focus on:
- Basic water safety and swimming skills
- Nurturing water safety
- Building self-confidence and functional ability
- Creating a relaxing, fun, and supportive environment

Join us on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9:30am for The Practice, 30-minute mindful meditation sessions facilitated by our Executive Director, Jonathon Collopy, Ph.D. on Tuesdays, and by our instructor Katie on Thursdays. SYNCHRONIZED SWIM CLUB
Swim as one with other Y swimmers in our spectacular synchronized swim club! Practice takes place on Mondays and Fridays, 11:15am-12:15pm. All Y members, ages 18 and up, are invited to join! All you need is a love for the water, swimming and moving to music — no previous synchronized swimming experience neccessary! CHILD WATCH
Y Community Plus members with family memberships have unlimited access to Child Watch services at 12 YMCA branch locations across San Diego County. With easy reservations through the YMCA app, you can focus on your fitness or unwind at the Y while your children play under the supervision of highly trained YMCA staff. Not yet a Y Community Plus member? Current Y members can upgrade to the Y Community Plus membership plan by stopping by any location. If you currently have Child Watch services as an add-on to your family membership, you may continue to use Child Watch services on a drop-in basis. Learn more here.

Take the field and join our youth soccer leagues or get your head in the game and improve your skills on the basketball court in one of our youth basketball leagues. Youth leagues and clinics are availble for ages 5-17

ADVENTURE CLUBS
Adventure Clubs at the YMCA nurture the relationships between parents and children through camping and other outdoor activities. Enjoy weekend campouts (tent and cabin camping) from the desert to the mountains and beaches. Parents and their children can look forward to making new friends and participating in activities such as hiking, biking, fishing, kayaking, crafts, campfire skits and more! Learn more.
SPLASH BALL
Practice your skills with fun drills in our Y water polo clinics on Fridays, 5:30 – 6:10pm! Swimmers will learn gameplay, rules, ball handling, passing and shooting while enhancing their swim conditioning and endurance in this unique swim clinic. Swimmers should be ages 7-16, beginner or intermediate level, in stage 5 swim lessons or above. – Register today!
SWIMMING WITH DIVERSE ABILITIES

BUILDING BONDS COMMUNITY Workshop

The YMCA’s Building Bonds community workshop provides support, guidance, and resources to caregivers of children and youth who have experienced trauma. Through a focus on Connection, Empowerment, and Collaboration, Building Bonds helps caregivers build trust, develop co-regulation strategies, and strengthen family resilience.
