TRACK PREP & OFF-SEASON CONDITIONING FOR TEEN ATHLETES
Give your young athlete a strong start this season. Our Tack Prep program builds the foundations needed for sprinting, jumping and overall athletic performance. Teens ages 12–16 will develop proper running mechanics, plyometrics, agility and speed — all in a supportive environment designed to help both new and experienced track athletes improve. Whether they’re getting ready for school tryouts or working to stay competitive in the off-season, this program provides the conditioning and confidence they need to excel. Get ready for some flag football fun at Toby Wells! Our coed league kicks off gives you the chance to hit the field and compete in a fast-paced, action-packed environment. Whether you’re playing for fun or aiming for the win, it’s the perfect way to stay active, meet new people and show off your skills. Spots are limited, so gather your team and get ready for the ultimate flag football experience!
- 7 players max on the field (4 men max, 3 women or non-binary player min for coed leagues only)

Flow, Sip, Connect
First Thursday of the Month | Follows the 8:30am Hatha Yoga Class
Refresh your body and uplift your soul with our monthly Yoga & Tea Gathering. Start with a soothing yoga flow designed to melt away tension and invite deep relaxation. Then, unwind further over a warm cup of tea and meaningful conversation, fostering connection and a sense of community. This welcoming space is open to all levels!

FAMILYFIT ORIENTATIONS
All youth ages 7-12 must complete a FamilyFIT Orientation before using our fitness centers. This orientation helps families achieve their health goals at the Y by learning proper exercise techniques, correct and safe usage of equipment and guidelines for the fitness center and group exercise classes.
Drop in to our weekly Family Orientations:
- Wednesdays at 4:30pm
- Saturdays at 10:30am
Space is limited, and reservations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Meet at the Fitness Center Kiosk at the designated time for the Fitness Orientation.

LIVESTRONG AT THE YMCA
LIVESTRONG at the YMCA engages cancer survivors through an approach that focuses on the whole person — mind and body. Through this program participants work with trained Y staff to improve cardiovascular endurance and functional ability, build muscle mass and strength, and increase flexibility. In addition to physical benefits, the program also focuses on the mental and emotional well-being of survivors and their families. This creates a supportive community environment where people affected by cancer can connect during treatment and beyond. Get more information online here.

CHILD WATCH
Y Community Plus members with family memberships have unlimited access to Child Watch services at 12 YMCA branch locations across San Diego County. With easy reservations through the YMCA app, you can focus on your fitness or unwind at the Y while your children play under the supervision of highly trained YMCA staff. Not yet a Y Community Plus member? Current Y members can upgrade to the Y Community Plus membership plan by stopping by any location. The YMCA’s Building Bonds community workshop provides support, guidance, and resources to caregivers of children and youth who have experienced trauma. Through a focus on Connection, Empowerment, and Collaboration, Building Bonds helps caregivers build trust, develop co-regulation strategies, and strengthen family resilience.
